The Titleist Vokey Design SM4 Chrome Wedge is designed to maximise performance within the 2010 groove specifications of the R&A and USGA. With 17 individually cut and inspected, heat-treated grooves on the face of the SM4 Wedges, Bob Vokey and his team at Titleist are looking to achieve the maximum conforming spin. The slightly narrower groove design pushes the limits of the specifications thanks to the tight manufacturing tolerances of the Spin Milled process.

 

The shape of the SM4 is inspired by Titleist's original 200 series Vokey wedge, and features a slightly larger teardrop profile.
